500+ Hats Donated!

Today I passed the 500 mark for my hats donations! I would like to thank everyone who has helped me by donating their time and energy to knitting so many hats. I could not have knit this many hats in less than six months alone!

Up for grabs!

Up for grabs are three beautiful new hats. These hats were hand knit by Jay. Each hat takes her an entire day or longer, so it's truly a labor of love. Her knitting is incredibly even and precise.

Spring Hats

My wonderful neighbor Jay brought over three spring hats today! The sunhat design is a huge favorite because of the full coverage and cute design. The red hat with the lace edge is also very popular. It's a little bit dressier. These are being given to individuals in Florida and San Diego.

Here's a photo of me with my friend Cassidy from when we were little. I guess I liked hats way back then too!

Rady Children's Hospital emailed and said that they could use all 36 hats. They are going in the mail tomorrow!

This just in!

G.G. just visited and brought 36 new hats with her. The majority of these hats are for children. I am waiting for a call back from Rady Children's Hospital to let me know how many they need!

Wow! Mary from Cedars-Sinai sent a huge box of yarn to me today because I sent in a bunch of hats. This will sure keep me busy for a while!

New Hat for April

Jay came up with another great design. This one fits sort of like a sun hat, but it's knit. The coverage is great and it's super flattering. Thanks Jay! I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
