There is a group of 46 mothers of kids with cancer, who are getting their heads shaved on September 7 to raise awareness for childhood cancer. The number is 46 because 46 children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the United States.
I am working on knitting/collecting hats for the moms and the kids. I just found out about this event, so I'm asking for help. Today was the first day of the new school year. Jay is home from Hawaii and she dropped off some wonderful hats (Thanks Jay!!) while I was at school. She has a new flower design that takes her an entire day to knit. Yes...That's an entire day just for the flower! Here it is...
